If you have driven by the Levy in Ottawa lately, you have probably noticed an increase in the number of homeless camping there.
Ottawa city officials are making a renewed effort to address the homeless problem in town. City Manager Brian Silcott says some long-term solutions are needed:
Silcott says homelessness can be caused by many factors, including loss of a job or a domestic situation.
