The one thing Wellsville doesn’t have is a community center and, as a town growing very quickly as the KC metro moves closer and closer, the need for such a facility is growing more and more important. The Wellsville Recreation Commission is looking into building just such a center. President of the Wellsville Joint Recreation Commission, Shane Pruitt:
Pruitt adds that more and more people are choosing to live in Wellsville and as the community grows, the need for more amenities grows and the need for improved and expanded recreation programs also grows. Expect to hear more about the proposed center in the near future.
