Although there have been minor revisions over the years, there has not been a complete review of the city of Ottawa’s Comprehensive Plan since 2004. So with that in mind, the Ottawa Planning Commission is starting a total review. Planning member, Janai Elmer says ottawa has a lot to offer, but it’s a diamond in the rough: (it should be noted that while you listen to her comments, one planning member was on zoom, so part of Elmer’s comments were punctuated with various background sounds.)
Officials estimate it could take up to a year to accomplish a total review of the comprehensive plan.
