Recently released data indicate that more and more women are getting into the agriculture field. However, do they experience discrimination due to the fact that they are women getting into a predominantly male occupation? Brandi Buzzard, a female rancher from Anderson County, gave her thoughts on this topic at the Women In Agriculture event held last month in Ottawa. She says it’s probably there, but not in a mean-spirited way:
