Miami County is about to have another high speed internet option as Comcast has completed it’s Spring Hill Expansion and now will kick off another project that will bring high speed fiber internet to Paola and Hillsdale. The Spring Hill project connects more than 4,500 homes and businesses to multi-gig speeds, according to a Comcast news release. Completion of the project was celebrated Friday, April 19, with a Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and again during Spring Hill’s Daffodil Days on Saturday, April 20.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Paola and Hillsdale multi-million-dollar infrastructure expansion project took place April 19th on Paola’s Park Square. Comcast recently announced plans for the two-year project that will expand its Xfinity 10g network infrastructure over 107 miles to reach more than 4,000 homes and businesses in the Paola and Hillsdale areas in Miami County.
