This summer, Azura Credit Union will break ground on a new, full service retail branch in Ottawa. The building will be located next to Price Chopper. Azura CEO Greg Winkler says for generations, Ottawa has been built by farmers, ranchers and entrepreneurs who value the benefits of a co-op and the opportunity to keep their money local. He says as the only credit union in Ottawa, Azura hopes to build on that tradition.
HTK Architects has been selected as the architect, and local builder, Loyd Builders, has been selected as the construction manager. Azura will begin hiring in late 2024 with plans to open for business in early 2025. The public is invited to the groundbreaking ceremony, Tuesday, May 21st at 11:30 in the morning.
