The Ottawa City Commission recently issued a proclamation dedicating May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner accepted the proclamation. He says Ottawa is fortunate to have mental health resources:
Weingartner added that jails in the United States, including the one in Franklin County, are the number one provider of mental health services in the United States.
