Memorial Day weekend is a time when many people get out and about as a family, to the lake, family, friends, and all kinds of fun. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner wants everyone to have fun, but, do it safely. It’s click-it or ticket weekend:
AAA estimates that nearly 44 million people will take trips of 50 miles or more from their homes over the Memorial Day travel period. That marks the second-highest Memorial Day holiday travel forecast since AAA began tracking numbers in 2000.
