AdventHealth Ottawa continues its strong recruiting efforts in a drive to expand its health care capacity. During the Ransom Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting, which is also attended by officials from AdventHealth, Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Perry said one category is surgery:
Perry says they have also made an offer to a potential ObGyn and are waiting for a response from the doctor.
Advent officials hope to re-establish birthing services at the hospital by the end of the summer, after pausing birth options November 9th of last year. They say making birthing options available is a priority for the hospital.
