There’s no limit to what people with disabilities can do and now that includes savings. the Kansas State Treasurer’s Office is offering those with disabilities the opportunity to open an ABLE account, a chance to save for their future without losing eligibility for assistance programs. They are offering online and in person seminars aimed at helping those eligible to save, invest, and grow personal wealth by using a Kansas ABLE Savings Account. If you would like to learn more and attend a seminar, you have a chance today, May 28th. A seminar will be held right here in Ottawa at noon, at City Hall. Eligible attendants will receive a $100 start up grant if they open an ABLE account.
