AdventHealth Ottawa is going to add their version of a Blessing Box. Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Perry says it will be strictly a hospital project:
Perry also says he still hopes to land a new ObGyn for the hospital sometime this summer. They have offered a contract to a doctor and await his response. Advent paused birthing services on November 9th of last year after Ottawa Family Physicians let them know they were no longer able to provide 24/7 coverage needed for labor and delivery care.
