The city of Ottawa’s new splash pad in City Park has been a success so far, with one little hiccup recently, when the water would not turn on. City Manager Brian Silcott addressed the issue at the City Commission Meeting and says more improvements are coming:
The splash pad opened Memorial Day weekend. It is open daily from 10:00 in the morning until 7:00 in the evening. Many kids and families have enjoyed it already, not only in the water, but playing on the playground and spreading out on blankets for picnics. Officials are expecting more people to use it once the summer heat picks up.
