A man from Pomona and a man from Quenemo have been arrested on drug charges. An Osage County Sheriff’s office deputy and K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at 213th and South Michigan road for a traffic violation. Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says during the stop, illegal narcotics were found. Fifty eight-year-old Delwin Watkins of Pomona was taken into custody on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine. , possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, and illegal registration. Sixty four-year-old Marvin McWhorter, of Quenemo, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
