Do you think that electric cars are the wave of the future as far as saving energy and saving the environment? You might think again and hold off on buying that new car.

A company in Australia says the future lies with hydrogen. They have developed the first all hydrogen car. The vehicles run on hydrogen fuel cells and the only emission from the vehicles is water. They are currently being tested in several major cities across the world, using passenger cars, and busses. The busses, by the way have twice the range as electric vehicles, going nearly 300 miles before refueling, compared to 160 for electric. The company says forget about plugging in and charging for hours. Their cars can recharge to full capacity in , get this…three to five minutes and have a range of nearly a thousand miles. Now, the only downfall is that hydrogen costs a bit more than gasoline and electricity.

Hyundai, Toyota , Honda and other car makers are exploring the hydrogen option for their vehicles.
