Thanks to a tip, Lawrence police detectives have arrested 18-year-old Allen Keith Glover. He’s now in jail charged with second-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Isaiah Neal, who was shot multiple times in Lawrence on Thursday, June 13th.
The information they received led them to Miami County. Lawrence Police and the Miami County Kansas Sheriff’s Office worked together throughout the night to follow leads and ensure the safety of everyone involved during his arrest. Glover ultimately surrendered without incident. Police were asking for help in locating the murder suspect, as witnesses on scene in the 2400 block of Alabama cooperated with investigators.
Police found Neal with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police thank the tipster who called with information on the whereabouts of Glover. The investigation is ongoing and formal charges will be announced when the investigation is complete
