The Ottawa Recreation Commission has a new director. Phil Bures takes over the position after having spent 10 years running the Garnett Recreation Department. Known for his compassion for his employees, and being able to keep them long term, Bures says one reason employees tend to stay is that he can relate to whatever their job is:
