Yesterday, June 24th, Kansas won a nationwide preliminary injunction stopping the latest version of President Biden’s student loan cancellation policy. The order stops the Biden Administration from cancelling student loans under its latest regulation, which was scheduled to take effect July 1st. Kansas Attorney General Chris Kobach says the victory was for the entire nation. The court’s decision says that the ability to forgive billions in student loans is a decision only congress can make. He says the Biden Administration’s attempt to cancel the debt is unconstitutional. Kobach adds that blue collar workers who didn’t go to college shouldn’t have to pay off the student debt of others, many not even using their degrees.

Judge Daniel Crabtree, a U. S. District Judge appointed by President Obama, issued the decision in Kansas City.
