The 2024-2025 Franklin County Farm Bureau AG Ambassadors have been announced. They are Brynn Perry from Ottawa High School, who has grown up in and around Farm Bureau all her life. Amelia Behrends from Wellsville High School, who has participated in Day At the Statehouse with us in Topeka for the past two years and, Calla Higbie, from Quenemo, learned of the value of the program through her brother Llane who served as an AG Ambassador in 2023.

The AG Ambassador program’s purpose is to provide leadership opportunities for Franklin County seniors interested in agriculture, provide students with an opportunity to learn about Farm Bureau and how it works from the grassroots up, and to develop students to be spokespersons for agriculture. Advocating for agriculture is what most excites each of them about this opportunity to serve as a Farm Bureau AG Ambassador. They look forward to educating children on the sources of their food and the incredible role that farmers and ranchers play in our society.
