Ottawa continues to address the need for housing in the community. The Ottawa County Commission approved vacating an easement at 1015 North Cherry to allow for the building of a multi family building. It was requested by by developer David Anderson of Sunrise Estates. City Planner Zack Martin described the project:
The easement vacation was approved unanimously by the commission. Martin added that more planning on the project would be presented at a later date
