Ottawa Library Director Terry Chartier gave an update on the Summer Reading Program to Ottawa City Commissioners. She says the number of participants is encouraging and the amount they are reading is impressive:
She added that an informal poll was taken at the Summer Reading Kick Off Event, a rainy day, but the majority of those polled said that the best part of the event was the rain and the kids being able to use the bounce houses in the rain.
