The Ottawa City Commission is meeting this afternoon and one of the items on the agenda is the selection of an airport master plan design consultant. City Manager Brian Silcott says the consultant for the last 16 years has been Alfred Benesch and Company. He expects them to be approved at the meeting. The position is required by the FFA in order to obtain funding for projects at the airport. Silcott talks about some of those projects:
They will also be interviewing a candidate for the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium Advisory Board, as well as budget talks from Emergency Communications, the auditorium, the Ottawa Library, the debt service fund, and the general fund. The meeting is going on now and is being live streamed on the city of Ottawa’s facebook page.
