One thing is clear: the Ottawa City Commission wants more money to be spent on street maintenance than what is currently spent. During the regular Commission Meeting, City Manager Brian Silcott noted that road maintenance needs to be more organized:
Currently about $250,000 are budgeted each year for street work, but the commission wants to see quite a bit more to keep all streets up-to-par.
