The Franklin County Commission has a seat open in the upcoming election. Third District Commissioner Roy Dunn has announced he will not seek reelection. Three candidates have filed for the seat. One of those is Sabrina Meader. She says she hears the same thing over and over from people. The most frequent concern she hears from people with concerns about the county. First, property taxes, and second, the condition of the roads. Meader says having helped built roads, she may have a solution.
The other two candidates for the county commission seat are Shawn Turner and John Marconette. The three will face each other in an August 6th primary election.
