The program on the Ottawa Indian Mission and Cemetery appears to have been a smashing success last week. Franklin County Historical Society Director Diana Staresinic-Deane says the white couple who worked with the Indians made a difference.
Staresinic-Deane says the Meekers seem to have been more enlightened on how to treat the Indians than most people in his time, and as a result the Mission fared rather well.
