The primary election that will be held on August 6th will decide who your next county commissioner is. All three candidates, John Marconette, Shawn Turner and Sabrina Meader are Republicans, and since there is no Democrat field for the position, who ever wins the primary will be the only name on the ballot when the general election rolls around in November. All three candidates sat down for a question-and-answer session at a candidate forum held recently in Ottawa, and when asked what constituents tell them are their top concerns, the answer was nearly synonymous.
