The Miami County Fair continues today, and the number of events just keeps getting bigger, with things going on for the whole family to enjoy. The day started with the Swine Show. Marais Des Cygne Extension District Agent Katelyn Barthol fills us in on other events happening today.
Other events today include the crowning of the fair royalty. For the Fair Sweetheart, Queen and Princess will be introduced and the winners announced. Candidates this year include…for Queen, Shelby Hatcher and Brooklyn Kerr. For Princess, Freya Barnes and Graysyn Reed, and for Sweetheart, Harper Mcgee, Hagen Gainer, Elliette Mcgee, and Adaline Belle Weir. It all happens right before the Mutton Bustin’ Contest at 7 tonight in the rodeo arena. Bring the family, check out the shows, the sight, sounds, smells and the carnival at the Miami County Fair.
