Love him, or hate him, O. J. Simpson was one of the greatest football players in history. Simpson died in April of cancer at the age of 76. Now, some of the personal belongings of the man who was embroiled in legal issues for decades, are up for auction. His attorney says given the unique circumstances of his estate, some personal items may be more valuable at auction than in a typical probate administration, due to his celebrity status.
Have you ever wanted to own a Heisman Trophy? You have the chance. The Heisman, along with Simpson’s golf clubs, his vehicle, his driver’s license and many other items, will go to the highest bidder. The ruling for the auction comes as Ron Goldman’s father, Fred filed a claim against Simpson’s estate seeking $117 million. Ron Goldman is the man Simpson was accused of killing, along with his ex wife Nicole Brown in 1995. No word on when the action will take place.
