Many Wellsville residents woke up Sunday morning, August 18th, to find that someone had burglarized their vehicles. The Wellsville Police Department says they worked several vehicle burglaries that occurred over night. They also added that more calls were coming in during the day yesterday with reports of burglaries. They are asking that if anyone saw any suspicious activity Saturday night or if residents have security cameras that may have caught anything suspicious that night, please call and let them know. From information gathered, it appears that the majority of the cars affected were unlocked.
