A temporary halt has been ordered by a federal judge in Texas to the Biden administration’s new protections that would allow undocumented immigrant spouses of U. S citizens a path to citizenship. ABC’s Chuck Sivertsen:
When President Biden introduced the program, he said he was doing so to promote family unity. Kansas Attorney General, Chris Kobach, says Kansas was one of the states that filed the protest.
Kobach also praised an injunction decision by a federal judge that stopped a Biden administration rule that would have allowed foreign AG workers to unionize. American agricultural workers are prohibited from unionizing. Kobach says it would have given alien AG workers rights that Americans don’t have.
