A Pomona man is facing charges in Anderson County District Court. Anderson County Attorney Elizabeth Oliver charged 24-year-old Alexander Green with aggravated indecent liberties with a child less than 14 years old. Green made his first appearance in court yesterday, September 17th. Green is also charged in Logan County Arkansas with sexual assault in the second degree, sexual assault in the fourth degree and escape from justice.
On or about April 26th he unlawfully left the state of Arkansas. He was in court in Franklin County in late April for an extradition hearing where extradition was waived.
Green faces 25 years to life in prison, if convicted of the charges in Anderson County, under Jessica’s Law. His next hearing is scheduled for October 15th in Anderson County District Court.
