Third graders from all the elementary schools in Franklin County descended on the Sylvester Ranch to learn more about farming, during the local Farm Bureau’s Annual Day On The Farm. One student was Jaeger, who is a third grader at Appanoose. Jaeger told what he had learned:
Jaeger says he lives on a farm and he helps drive a tractor when helping his dad with his farm chores. Day On The Farm is held every year to show kids where their food comes from and how it is made, as many believe it just appears at the grocery store.
