Third graders all over Franklin County know a lot more about farming now that they have been to the annual Day on the Farm sponsored by the Franklin County Farm Bureau. The event this year was held on the Sylvester Ranch. Joyellen from the Central Heights third grade told what she learned:
The day on the farm is held each year because many children don’t know where their food comes from………with many concluding they simply get it from the grocery store.
