The Kansas GOP has issued a statement saying that Nancy Boyda has failed to follow clearly defined federal election commission rules that require “paid for by” disclosures on campaign signs, videos, websites and other communications. Chair Mike Brown formally submitted an official complaint to the FEC yesterday highlighting the omissions. Brown says he surprised that Boyda wants to go back to writing laws for people when she is unable or unwilling to follow federal rules herself. He questions what she is trying to hide or who paid for her campaign signs or website.
The election for Congress is heating up between the two candidates. This accusation comes a day after Boyda accused her opponent of not living in Independence where he says and actually living in Lawrence. She added that he was playing farmer to get elected to Congress.
The final day to register to vote in Kansas is October 15th. Make sure you are able to exercise your greatest right…vote.
