Third graders from all over Franklin County spent the day, Thursday, September 19th, learning about farming during Franklin County Farm Bureau’s annual “Day On The Farm”. This year it was held at Sylvester Ranch. One third grader, River, from Central Heights told what she had learned:
Other students said they learned how to make pudding, among other things.
“Day On The Farm” is held every year to show kids what goes on at a farm and to teach them where their food comes from, since most think it just appears at the grocery store.
