A historic United States Port strike has been suspended and a tentative agreement was reached on wages. Tens of thousands of U. S. dockworkers had walked off the job early Tuesday morning, clogging dozens of ports along the east and gulf coasts. They want a significant pay raise. ABC’s Andrew Dymburt breaks it down:
On a local note, toilet paper shelves at Walmart last night were almost bare. One worker I spoke to says there was a huge rush to buy toilet paper the past couple days, something she hadn’t seen since the covid pandemic, adding shelves should be restocked in the next couple days.
