A University of Kansas professor has “left” the university, after a video went viral last week of the professor making, what some say were unnerving remarks, about men who won’t vote for women based on their intelligence. Professor Phillip Lowcock said men who wouldn’t vote for Kamala Harris because she is a woman, should be lined up and shot. KU officials confirm that Lowcock has left the university after being placed on administrative leave. KU says they are working on getting a new instructor to assume responsibility of the exercise science kinesiology class, and working with students in the class that have been impacted.
The comments by Lowcock left many wondering how the topic came up in an exercise science class in the first place and led many local lawmakers to call for his replacement. Lowcock could not be reached for comment .
