The Franklin County Attorney’s Office has more murder cases in the courts now than ever before. County Attorney Brandon Jones says the oldest of the four will finalized soon:
Alvarado was involved in a fight with his roommate June of 2022 at their residence at 11th and Ash. Alvarado ended up stabbing 29-year-old Dalton Presley to death. He was originally charged with second degree murder and was pursuing a self defense plea for a while. However, in August he pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 21st at 3:30.
