A former Kincaid pastor who at one time pursued a ministry as a social media influencer before he was charged with child molestation, was arraigned yesterday in Anderson County District Court. Fifty-year old Kevin Labelle was arrested in May and charged with unlawful sexual acts with a 15-year-old boy as well as photographing sex acts with the youth, to possess or distribute. A count of unlawful distribution of marijuana were also filed. Details of the arraignment have not yet been released. KOFO will have those for you as soon as they are released.
Labelle operated a non-profit ministry for prison inmates which he claimed garnered 10,000 youtube subscribers over the two years his organization was operating. It was aimed at advocating for incarcerated inmates and for inmates Labelle claimed were falsely imprisoned. Labelle had a number of felonies in various counties according to state court records.
