Brightspeed Corporation may be about to undertake an effort to connect underserved homes in Franklin County to fiber technology. John Idoux, with Brightspeed says his company is already busy upgrading Wellsville.
Idoux says there is no financial obligation from the county, although the company might ask for a letter of support of the project.
