Not all the Republicans won election on election day. U.S. House of representatives 3rd District incumbent Sharice Davids defeated challenger Republican Prashanth Reddy. Davids handily won in Johnson County and a portion of Wyandotte County, while Reddy took Miami, Franklin and Anderson Counties. In an interview with KOFO, Davids says she would like to focus on bringing the parties together:
She says she plans to support the expansion of Medicaid in Kansas and more funding for public schools, including special education to build a Kansas that works for everyone.
