You are outside in your yard or somewhere else in town and suddenly your nose gets a whiff of something not… quite… right. What is that smell? You think, oh my, there must be a gas leak somewhere, so, you call 9-1-1 to report it. Ottawa Fire Department Fire Prevention Coordinator, Captain Mike Wilson says most of the calls they get like this turn out to be something more “natural”:
Wilson urges people to call if they have any questions, because it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to gas leaks. Hopefully you won’t get introduced to a new friend.
