Have you seen an UFO.? Something in the sky you questioned? Ever had a “close encounter of the third kind?” Well, you are not alone. More than 700 UFO reports were made in the last year, according to a report published Thursday by the Pentagon and the Director of National Intelligence report. However, officials are quick to point out in the 2024 report that while there are certain phenomena they can’t explain, they have found no evidence of extraterrestrial life being responsible for them.
The review includes hundreds of cases of misidentified balloons, birds and satellites as well as some that defy easy explanation, such as a near-miss between a commercial airliner and a mysterious object off the coast of New York. Also, dozens more reports from people saying they had been taken on board alien aircraft and questioned, examined, and even…probed. At a Pentagon hearing recently, testimony was heard from several expert witnesses who have studied the phenomena. The discussion included fanciful questions about alien intelligence and military research using alien technology. So, is it ours, someone else’s, or, could it be…otherworldly?
