Something a lot of people were worried might not happen this year, happened yesterday. There is now new farm bill legislation in both houses of congress. The house version of a new farm bill was joined yesterday by a version in the U. S. Senate. However, concerns remain that with limited days left in the session, there may not be enough time to pass a farm bill this year. Mary Kay Thatcher of Syngenta says:
