Katie Dillon, an Agribusiness Major from Louisburg, was selected as an Oklahoma State University Senior of Significance for the 2024-2025 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association. According to the Miami County Republic, during her time at OSU, Dillon served on the Ferguson College of Agriculture Student Council and worked as a teaching assistant for agricultural sales and product marketing. She was also a McKnight Scholar and was on the Agricultural Economics Department Quiz Bowl Team. Dillon also served as a women’s small group leader at Countryside Church. After graduation, she will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics at OSU.
The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who truly exemplify and embody the “Cowboy Code”, which honors the university’s Land-Grant Mission and commends academic achievements, character and personal impact. The 51 students represent the top one percent of seniors, including all five OSU Undergraduate Academic Colleges. A ceremony recognizing this year’s Seniors of Significance took place November 5th at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
