The Ottawa City Commission has approved an ordinance that regulates massage establishments and therapists in city limits. City Attorney Blaine Finch explained that the city is trying to have a reasonable approach.
The commission had heard complaints that no regulation was needed as there as never been a problem in Ottawa, but city officials say the ordinance will hopefully control things so that a problem never occurs.
