At the close of Wednesday’s Ottawa City Commission Meeting, December 4th, City Manager Brian Silcott, gave an update to commissioners on the search for staff to maintain the city golf course once the city takes over December 31st, and gave a reminder to Ottawa residents on the north side:
The grounds superintendent is responsible for all maintenance at the golf course, including supervising employees and directing maintenance of equipment, the facilities and the grounds. The city purchased the golf course last year, knowing that having a municipal golf course is important when attracting people and industry to the area.
