A special meeting of the Ottawa City Commission turned out to be a bit tense at times. One of the topics discussed was who would be the next mayor, which apparently will be Emily Allan. Commissioner Aara Caylor objected to comments made by other commissioners:
Emily Allan is expected to start serving as new mayor at Wednesday’s regular meeting.
