Delores Christina “Dee” Bogle, age 83 of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Wellsville Retirement Community. Per Dee’s wishes, no services are planned. Cremation.

Delores Christina “Dee” Bogle was born September 8, 1941, in Colwich, Kansas the daughter of Harry Anthony and Bertha Mary (Faber) Matzek. She grew up in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School in 1959. On September 12, 1959, she married Larry Hubert Bogle in Chanute, Kansas. They were married 46 years before his passing on April 28, 2006.

Dee was an entrepreneur from the get-go. She was self-employed her entire career. She spent decades as an interior designer and florist with Home Interiors. Dee co-owned Wellsville Plants and Posies flower shop. She was known for setting goals and making plans. She was a list-maker at heart. Dee never fully retired, but just spent more time creating, crafting, painting, designing floral pieces and generously giving of her time and ideas. She loved spending time with her family and particularly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dee is survived by her children: daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dave Skiles of Grand Island, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Bogle and Mike Jones of Lawrence, KS; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh and Marilyn Bogle of Greeley, KS; son and daughter-in-law, Larry A. and Rosanna Bogle of Catawba, WI; and son and daughter-in-law, Boyd and Vickie Bogle of Greeley, KS; grandchildren: Caitlin Skiles (Dallas Henley) of Wake Forest, NC; Alaric Bogle (Schyler) of Paola, KS and their children Gideon and Balian; Dustin Bonzo (Ellen) and their children Isabelle, Maddilyn and Lillian; Trinity Bogle of Wichita, KS; Cassandra Bogle of Catawba, WI and children Anna, Noah and Luke; and Ian Bogle of Rhinelander, WI; Zach Smothers of Garnett, KS and child, Ashton; and Alisha Parks of Garnett, KS and children, Addison and Kayden Kettler; sister, Eileen Davis of Topeka, KS and brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Annie Matzek of Meriden, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry and brother, David Matzek.
