The Franklin County Commission had somewhat of a ‘go-around’ when it came to appointing new members to the Ransom Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees. Five open positions needed to be filled, and some new people, as well as the existing members, applied for the positions. Commission Chair Colt Waymire had wanted to appoint at least one new member along with four other incumbents. However, no one would make a motion to accept the slate of candidates. Finally Commissioner Ianne Dickinson had an observation:
Eventually the commission decided to re-appoint all incumbents to their posts.
