Tim Mallon, a Baldwin City resident since 1996 was born in Dallas, TX in 1959. He grew up in Philadelphia, PA and after graduating high school at Cardinal O’Hara in Springfield Delaware County PA and completing some college at Penn State, moved to Laguna Beach, CA in 1981.
Tim met his wife, Kitrina Boice, a Lawrence KS native, in Laguna Beach and they married in 1983. They had two daughters, Jessica Anne and Kelsey Margaret and moved to Baldwin City in 1996. They have raised their family, resided, and worked here ever since.
Tim was a Master Electrician and was able to assist clients with his knowledge at the North Olathe Home Depot in Olathe for 25 years. He was an avid and skilled rock climber, fly fisherman and all around outdoorsman.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kitrina, daughters Jessica Davis (Ray/Mallon), Kelsey Verdoorn (Mallon) and grandchildren Ansley Ray, Finnley Ray, Hollis Ray, Rhett Verdoorn and Dylan Verdoorn.
Other surviving family include his brothers Daniel Mallon, Sarasota, FL and Patrick Mallon, St. Petersburg, FL, and sisters Natalie Abderhalden (Mallon), Punta Gorda, FL and Mary Mallon Pavlica, Los Angeles, CA.
